In Vivo Laborant

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Conducting of in vivo studies for rodents and rabbits in the area of toxicology and pharmacokinetic. The tasks include:

- clinical scoring
- taking blood
- ability to dose by various routes (IP, IV, PO, Subcutaneous)
- basic necropsy skills

• Collect, document, review and varify data on forms or in electronic data capture systems

• Participate as a team member study activities at the weekend on a rotational basis

• Optional: Conduct or assist during surgical procedures including anesthesia and provide pre- and postoperative care according to best veterinary and animal welfare standards

Must Haves:

• You have completed training as an in vivo associate, biology laboratory assistant, or have relevant experience in laboratory work with laboratory animals (*****)

• Work experience minimum 2 years in the field of animal laboratory work (rats and mice) (*****)

• An accredited animal course (LTK or FELASA) is mandatory (*****)

• Languages: Fluent in English
