HSE manager

We are seeking a dedicated HSE Manager to ensure the implementation of company HSE standards (MSG, HSEQ Policy, Asset Integrity, Operability & Maintainability) and to guarantee safe plant operations in full compliance with Romanian regulations, company procedures and technical guidelines. The role is central to coordinating the HSE management system and driving continuous improvement in safety, environmental performance, and asset integrity.

Key Responsibilities

HSE System Management

• Implement HSE methodologies in line with company standards to protect employees, assets, the environment, and public safety.
• Manage and update all site‑related HSE documentation, including analyses and technical annexes required by company procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections on the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by employees and third parties.

Risk Assessment & Asset Integrity

• Supervise integrated risk assessment processes (HazId, HazOp, SIL, FERA, QRA).
• Define and verify Safety and Environmental Critical Elements (SECE), Operational Critical Elements (OCE), and related performance standards.
• Collaborate closely with technical departments to ensure equipment integrity, maintainability, and reliability.

HSE Training, Awareness & Culture

• Oversee mandatory HSEQ training programs for employees and contractors.
• Ensure all employees receive proper instructions and training regarding PPE selection and usage.

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Romanian legislation and corporate guidelines.
• Coordinate environmental and industrial permits with local authorities.

Incident & Emergency Management

• Oversee the analysis of near misses, incidents, and accidents.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of integrated emergency response plans.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

• Manage HSE KPIs, performance monitoring, and reporting according to the corporate framework.
