  • Manage the full scope of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compensation and benefits, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies aligned with business objectives.
  • Act as a key communication and cultural bridge between Chinese and local staff.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict management, and organisational development.
  • Oversee training and career development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Hungarian labour law and internal corporate regulations.
  • Manage office administration, procurement, and vendor coordination (contracts, invoices, travel, fleet, and supplies).
  • Support expatriate employees with relocation and integration.
  • Monitor Health & Safety (H&S) standards in the workplace.
  • Contribute to regional HR and administrative processes and help shape new local procedures.
  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR generalist or administration experience.
  • Native or bilingual Chinese proficiency – mandatory for daily communication with HQ.
  • Fluent English communication skills – written and spoken.
  • Familiarity with Hungarian labour law and HR best practices is preferred.
  • Experience in an international or Chinese business environment is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.

We are looking for an experienced HR & Administration Manager to take a key leadership role in our Budapest operations. The company is an international organisation with its headquarters in China and a growing regional presence in Central and Eastern Europe. This position will oversee full HR and administrative functions, acting as a vital bridge between local teams and corporate leadership. You will manage all HR and office administration activities for the Budapest office and support HR-related initiatives across the CEE region. The role requires close cooperation with both local management and corporate HQ. You will report directly to the Vice President (Chinese), who is responsible for strengthening the regional operations.
