This role is critical in ensuring the performance, safety, and compliance of high voltage energy systems through rigorous testing, data analysis, and continuous process optimization. You will play a key role in bridging R&D and manufacturing, supporting the development of innovative energy technologies.High Voltage Testing and Process Engineer for Bushings 80 – 100% (f/m/d)How you'll make an impactLead and execute high-voltage testing activities in compliance with IEC, IEEE, and internal standardsDesign and implement test setups, selecting appropriate HV equipment and methodologiesAnalyze test data, document results, and support root cause investigations and corrective actionsCollaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to define test strategies and process requirementsDrive continuous improvement in testing and prototyping processes to enhance efficiency and qualityEnsure proper maintenance, calibration, and safe operation of HV test equipmentSupport prototyping activities and assess process feasibility in a manufacturing environmentPromote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO, and company policiesYour backgroundBachelor-s or Master-s degree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum 2 years of hands-on experience in high voltage testing. Process engineering experience is a plusStrong knowledge of HV testing protocols, equipment, and safety practicesFamiliarity with IEC, IEEE, ISO 9001, and ISOstandardsProficient in analysing test data and conducting failure analysesFluent in German and good English knowledge, with excellent communication and problem-solving skillsMore about usHitachi Energy offers you interesting tasks in a highly motivated team and an open communication style.
