Responsibilities

Personnel and technical management of employees in the “R&D Low Voltage and Components” department
Management of and collaboration in projects for the new development and optimization of cable accessories up to 1kV and components
Creation of 3D designs and drawings derived from them, as well as design data for products and tools
Creation and further development of design guidelines and product documentation
Support in process definitions or process optimization
Definition of test procedures for incoming goods inspections and production with regard to material-related issues
Coordination and establishment of cooperation with external partners, laboratories, suppliers, research institutions, and universities

Requirements

Completed degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics (Dipl.-Ing. / Bachelor/ Master)
Management experience and/or experience in a similar position is an advantage
Expertise in CAD and 3D design (Creo – key user function) as well as knowledge and confident application of the relevant standards for testing and developing the specified materials and products/fittings
Knowledge and experience in the field of plastic injection molding (tool knowledge, material knowledge)
Basic understanding of electrical engineering
Strong communication skills in German and English
Willingness to travel occasionally within the country and abroad (10%)
