Responsibilities

Lead the 35-person Product & Design organization with full operational autonomy
Lead 4 direct reports (Product Strategist-, Innovation Consultant-, Business Analyst-, and Visual Team Leads)
Establish consistent product development processes across diverse portfolio of projects
Drive effective cross-team collaboration with Sales and Engineering
Evolve Product Strategist team towards an AI-first product orientation
Act as key advisor to ensure creation of superb digital product experiences
Oversee cross-functional collaboration from pre-sales scoping through product development lifecycles
Full authority over hiring, budget, and strategic decisions
Establish consistent product development frameworks discovering customer and business needs
Lead product team's evolution to full-stack product thinkers
Optimize team structures and product roadmaps for focus and resource allocation
Foster collaboration between product design, business analyst teams, product and engineering
Deliver on product practice strategy and portfolio goals, scale AI systematically
Monitor portfolio health (eNPS, CSAT, scope KPIs), manage risks, implement corrective actions
Mentor and develop four Lead reports in a high-performance environment
Drive talent development initiatives and manage R&D and upskilling budgets

Requirements

7+ years of progressive leadership experience in product development/product design teams within software agencies or tech companies
Experience in both software agencies and tech companies preferred
Proven ability to establish consistent processes across diverse portfolios
Strong product intuition with appreciation for design excellence and business rigor
Strategic thinker with experience working with design-focused teams and building product organizations
Deep understanding of full Product Development Lifecycle including AI-enabled processes
Strong analytical skills and financial acumen for service-based business models
Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences and good public speaking skills
Exceptional ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
Pragmatic approach to scaling AI adoption across workflows
Native proficiency in Jira, Slack, Google Sheets, Figma, and AI prototyping tools
Fluent Business English
Based in or willing to relocate to Budapest with hybrid work arrangement
