This is more than just a product management role - it's your chance to redefine a globally established company as a modern, industry-leading innovator.
You’ll own the global product management strategy, shape a high-performing team and further develop an innovative and increasingly digital product portfolio. By also leading our business development activities, you`ll act as the key link between engineering, R&D, design, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution and go-to-market strategies. You’ll collaborate closely with our Chief Sales Officer and leadership team, turning Trafag into a go-to brand for pressure, temperature, and gas density sensors globally. And as we scale, your work will also elevate our regional Trafag Sales Companies.

???? What You'll Do

• Define, implement and lead the global product management as well as business development strategies
• Lead and develop the product management team (today 3 direct in Bubikon, 3 indirect worldwide) with vision and enthusiasm
• Define the product vision, strategy, and comprehensive roadmap for the entire product portfolio with a focus on digital product and solution innovation
• Conduct in-depth market research, identifying emerging trends, analyzing competitor positioning, and gathering customer needs
• Overlook the entire product development process from concept, definition of technical specifications, to market launch and phase-out
• Define and monitor key performance indicators, managing profitability, and creating business cases and ROI analyses for new initiatives
• Communicate product strategy and performance to internal stakeholders, executive management and key customers
• Report directly to the Chief Sales Officer

???? What You Bring

• University degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences or a related technical field, MBA is a plus
• Minimum of 6+ years in product management and/or development, with significant leadership experience
• Strong technical knowledge of sensor technologies (e.g., temperature, humidity, pressure, motion, air quality, flow, etc.) and relevant industry applications (e.g., industrial, automotive, consumer).
• Experience in digital product development and IoT ecosystems, data-driven solutions is a plus
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, project management, and strong analytical skills
• Strong communication and leadership skills combined with strategic thinking and hands-on execution
• Fluency in both English and German
