Responsibilities

As an R&D Group Manager – Test Development, you will be responsible for managing a team of 8–10 engineers, driving project progress, and removing obstacles that could impact delivery. You will oversee schedules, handle escalations, and maintain proactive communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Lead and develop a team of 8–10 Test Development Engineers
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and resolve roadblocks
  • Handle escalations and ensure timely issue resolution
  • Collaborate with internal customers such as Hardware R&D and Manufacturing
  • Ensure resource allocation and workload balance across projects
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and team performance
  • Conduct performance reviews and support career development
  • Provide clear reporting on project status and team metrics

Requirements

  • You are a strong leader with excellent organizational and communication skills. You thrive in managing teams and projects, ensuring alignment between technical teams and business objectives.
     

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in the electronics or manufacturing industry
  • 2+ years of experience in team leadership or project management
  • Understanding of test development processes and workflows
  • Strong English skills and proficiency in Hungarian (professional working level)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in managing engineering teams in a product development environment
  • Familiarity with test systems and measurement technology
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with R&D and Manufacturing
