Group Procurement Manager

As Group Procurement Manager, you will play a strategic role in understanding and optimizing procurement processes across multiple member companies in Central Europe. This position does not involve direct supervision of country procurement teams - instead, you will support and guide them from a group level, ensuring alignment, efficiency, and best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain a complete overview of member companies’ procurement processes, teams, and categories (food & beverage, consumables, equipment, services).
• Support country procurement teams (who report to their Country Managers) by providing guidance, tools, and best practices.
• Oversee tenders, price control, and contract compliance at a group level.
• Ensure smooth information flow between head office and local units.
• Regularly report to the Holding on procurement activities and projects.
• Identify and eliminate inefficient practices; share and implement good practices across countries.
• Launch joint procurement tenders to leverage group synergies.
• Improve procurement conditions and deliver measurable savings year-on-year.
• Develop procurement strategies for each country and the region as a whole.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership position, ideally in a group or multinational environment.
• Strong ability to influence and collaborate without direct authority.
• Expertise in tenders, contract management, and compliance.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage (Hungarian, Czech, Slovak, Romanian)
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Willingness to travel for business.
