Responsibilities

Role Overview:

We are looking for a full-time Group Controller and Reporting Expert for our headquarters in Budapest. This crucial role involves ensuring financial compliance and strategic fiscal management within our core activities. The successful candidate will work closely with our international controlling team, the group CFO and local CFOs to enhance financial performance and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee financial reporting in compliance with IFRS, prepare group-level consolidation and periodic IFRS reports for the Stock Exchange in cooperation with local teams.
Conduct detailed financial analyses, provide recommendations to enhance profitability and efficiency.
Collaborate closely with the international controlling team, local and group CFOs on strategic financial planning and decision-making.
Ensure robust financial control systems and procedures are in place and adhered to.
Lead group-level budgeting, forecasting, and provide in-depth variance analyses.
Prepare and present insightful financial reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
Coordinate with various teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
Assist with financial analyses and modelling related to M&A activities of the Group.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
At least 5 years of experience in financial controlling and IFRS reporting.
CPA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent international qualification is a plus.
Fluent in English.
Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient with MS Office tools.
Experience with Lucanet consolidation platform is a plus.
