Responsibilities

Associates are dedicated to supporting the efforts of the relationship management team to create new client relationships and expand existing client relationships:

Assist in the development of strategic plans for individual clients, outlining a service plan and cross selling opportunities, and prospects
Partner with team members to coordinate prospect pitches, product presentations, and requests for proposal
Identify and escalate any sensitive client issues to senior team members; coordinate a timely response to the client
Coordinate with key stakeholders across the Division including Portfolio Managers, Product Managers, Legal, Technology, Operations and Compliance with a common goal of meeting clientsâ needs

Requirements

Bachelorâs degree and strong academic background required
3+ years of work experience in asset management or related field a plus
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through
Ability to grasp problems described by clients, articulate the problems clearly to analyze the problem, and communicate the resulting analysis to clients
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialogue and interactions, and collaborate well with others
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Investment Management Certificate required, or obtained within 3 months of joining
