Responsibilities

As the Global Process Owner Order to Cash, Service Operations (m/f/d) you define, govern, and continuously improve the Order-to-Cash process in the global Accelleron service network SAP S/4HANA system and team. You are enabling users to execute a seamless and compliant O2C process through global standards, templates, and system capabilities. Responsible for ensuring seamless order fulfillment, accurate billing, and timely invoicing by driving process discipline, user adherence, and change management, while enabling scalable, customer-centric business operations. Maintaining service excellence through continuous improvement initiatives by fostering a collaborative, team-based Order-to-Cash process organization, avoiding siloed execution, and jointly implementing the service operations strategy through global process ownership. In this role you will report to the Team Leader & Service Business Process Manager (S/4HANA), Global Service Operations, and be part of the S/4HANA Flash Team.

Your responsibilities:

  • Act as the business Global Process Owner and Subject Matter Expert for the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process, from sales order creation to invoicing, and cash collection.
  • Represent Order-to-Cash in cross-functional initiatives and work in close alignment with the S/4HANA Flash-, CRM-, Operations- and Finance organizations. This includes Global Process Owners, Project Managers, Central Operations Teams, Local Power Users and End Users.
  • Build and maintain a strong Order-to-Cash Power User community within the Service Network, enabling distributed ownership of process execution, adoption, and know-how.
  • Ensure the alignment of all business processes together with other process owners.
  • Ensure consistent process adherence by defining KPIs, monitoring performance, identifying root causes, improvement opportunities, and system issues, and driving corrective actions with and through defined power users.
  • Collect and analyze process user and customer feedback to identify development areas of the process, prioritize the developments, and lead the execution of the needed actions.
  • Work closely with IS and application owners to define IT requirements and user stories, ensuring the Order-to-Cash process is effectively supported within the SAP S/4HANA landscape and by the right applications.
  • Manage a set of global standards, including process documentation and user manuals, to enable automation, intelligent SAP S/4HANA capabilities, and consistent process adoption.
  • Elaborate and evaluate cost saving opportunities incl. feasibility, impact on product costs and capital expenditures (Business Case).
  • Act as authorization owner for Requests for Change (RfCs) within the assigned process, ensuring governance, compliance, and alignment with global standards.
  • Ensure business testing and final release of changes for deployment (derived from improvement projects or periodic SAP releases)​ in collaboration with the S/4 HANA Team.
  • Develop and regularly execute End User and Power User Training in collaboration with Global End User Training responsible and the Power User community.

Your background:

  • University degree or equivalent higher education in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, with hands-on experience in SD, PS, and EPPM modules; experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud would be an advantage.
  • International business experience and intercultural competence.
  • Experience in process governance, project management, process automation, and/or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Self-driven, persistent, enabling, structured, collaborative, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working with senior management across different countries and effectively communicating and driving initiatives across all organizational levels.
  • Experience in commercial support and/or service coordination.
  • Would be an advantage: experience in people development, coaching, and training enablement of Power Users and End Users.
  • Language skills: English (C1 or above); German (B2 or above) would be an advantage.
  • Ability to travel globally up to 5–10%.
