We are an established, globally recognized medical device manufacturer expanding our operations in Dunakeszi. To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced MRP Specialist.
As an MRP Specialist, you will take ownership of the global MRP process and play a key role in ensuring that the right materials are available at the right time. Your work will support production continuity, optimized inventory levels, and reliable customer deliveries.
You will collaborate closely with Production Planning, S&OP, Procurement, Strategic Procurement, and Engineering across our international organization.
  • Own and manage the global MRP process, ensuring timely and accurate MRP runs.
  • Analyze MRP results, planning proposals, exceptions, and material shortages.
  • Proactively identify material supply risks and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Maintain and improve MRP-related master data and planning parameters, including lead times, lot sizes, safety stock levels, and planning strategies.
  • Work closely with Production Planning to ensure material availability in line with the production plan.
  • Support the S&OP process by providing material requirements, supply risk assessments, and inventory analyses.
  • Cooperate with Procurement and Strategic Procurement on purchasing requirements, supplier lead times, minimum order quantities, and supply risks.
  • Partner with Engineering on BOM changes, new product introductions, engineering changes, and phase-in/phase-out activities.
  • Monitor material coverage, critical shortages, excess inventory, and obsolete stock.
  • Conduct root-cause analyses and drive continuous improvement within the MRP process.
  • Develop and improve MRP reports, KPIs, and analytical tools.
  • Support the standardization and digitalization of global planning processes.
  • At least five years of experience in MRP, material planning, production planning, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of MRP principles and material planning processes.
  • Experience with an ERP/MRP system such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central, Oracle, or a similar platform.
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in managing planning-related master data and parameters.
  • Good understanding of BOMs, manufacturing processes, and procurement.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into clear actions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of processes.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience in a global manufacturing organization.
  • Experience with Power BI or other data analytics tools.
  • Experience in ERP/MRP implementation or optimization.
  • Experience with S&OP processes.
  • Experience with Engineering Change Management or New Product Introduction.
  • Knowledge of Lean or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
