In-house Insurance Broker for the Kronospan global insurance needs which mainly consists of a global Property Damage and Business Interruption program, General Liability Insurance and Marine Open Cover;
Internal insurance contact person for all Kronospan entities;
Leading communication and co-ordination with international specialist Insurance Brokers and insurance/re-insurance companies;
Preparation of presentations and participation in Insurer and Brokers selection process;
Reviewing, optimizing and agreeing to bind insurance policies and service contracts;
Participation in any new projects which would require insurance coverage;
Build relations and participate with the plants’ internal risk management teams and consultants and would require travel to assist in Risk Surveys;
Ensure the company is managed in line with the licensing conditions at all times.

University / College degree
ACII or equivalent insurance qualification;
Fluent English AND German language knowledge
Min. 10 years experience in international insurance underwriting and claims as a broker
Min. 10 years experience in dealing with German, Swiss and UK insurers, reinsurers, brokers
A proven track record of handling global insurance programs (PD/BI, Liability and Marine)
A qualification in Risk Management and Business Administration would be an asset;
Willingness to move to Malta.
