Responsibilities

Performing the general ledger tasks of the companies operating under the responsibility of the SSC operating in Hungary. Analysis and verification of data.

Reconciliation of balance sheet and profit and loss accounts, preparation of reconciliations
Accounting and management of accruals
Posting of wages and accruals
Fixed asset accounting
Posting taxes based on instructions provided by the Taxation Department
Participation in the closing process (monthly, quarterly, annually)
Liaising with partner departments (AP, AR, PAYMENT, FP&A)
Liaison and data provision to auditors, tax advisors, the Central Statistical Office, the National Bank of Hungary
Responsible for compliance with USGAAP and local accounting regulations

Requirements

A university or college degree in finance/accounting or a chartered accountant qualification
Intermediate English language skills
Ability to work independently, reliability, accuracy
Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting and bookkeeping experience

Nice-to-have

Knowledge of SAP or JDE (ERP software)
Black Line Knowledge
Strong excel knowledge
