As part of the Telekom Security team, it is your task to convince internal and external customers to use the security awareness products and to motivate them to actively participate in awareness events in innovative and unusual ways.

Tasks:

Job Description

You will be responsible for enforcing privacy and security requirements and implementing the relevant procedures/tools and technical/process standards to ensure data protection compliance in accordance with the EU GDPR and ISO 27701. You will act independently, while networking your area of responsibility with other departments and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. If you join us, your daily tasks will be as follows:

Develop specifications and derive measures to improve the level of data protection in the development and operation of products and standard solutions (privacy by default and privacy by design)
Identify structural weaknesses based on data protection KPIs and initiate improvement actions
Related planning and reporting tasks, in particular development of KPIs and responsibility for reporting and reporting systems
Analysing and evaluating complex data, preparing and presenting results for management purposes, and deriving recommendations for action for management and clients
Contribute to the departmental aspects of the privacy and security strategy and architecture, and manage the implementation/application of framework specifications and target processes, as well as optimisation measures
Analysing the organisation and processes with regard to the requirements of the EU GDPR and managing the support provided by the business units for data protection and security, also taking into account possible information security concerns and risks
Perform data protection specific process roles
Manage ISO 27701 and EU GDPR implementation projects, managing and monitoring security and privacy requirements for stakeholders
Ensure efficient and comprehensive communication with stakeholders, including transfer of best practices
Advising internal clients on cloud and other new technologies from a data protection perspective
Design and delivery of training for multipliers

Expectation:

Qualifications

Degree in science/technology/engineering/mathematics (STEM), or business administration or security technology / relevant professional qualification
At least 3 years of professional experience in managing and coordinating interdisciplinary, cross-departmental projects, preferably with an IT or data protection background
Expert knowledge of relevant laws, norms and standards for information security and data protection (e.g. ISO/IEC 27000 family, GDPR)
You have several years of experience in product, requirements and IT process management, ideally in the privacy and security environment
Proven knowledge of agile tools (e.g. JIRA, Azure) and strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong ability to present complex issues in a simple and understandable way
Fluent to business fluent written and spoken English and German, at least CEF level B2 - C1

Additional Information

Extensive and in-depth knowledge of the operationalisation of key legal and regulatory requirements in the environment of cloud services, cloud-based software development in agile structures (SAFe) using governance, risk and compliance management tools and the application of maturity models
Strong conceptual and analytical skills as well as a proven high level of implementation competence in the application of current standards, methods of quality, service, process and project management (SAFe, ITIL V3, PRINCE2, PM-Book, ARIS/ePK modelling, CMMI, SCRUM), preferably with appropriate certification
Expertise in agile product management (SCRUM), software development, project and process management
