Responsibilities

As General Manager at Combi Lift Japan, you will take full responsibility for the commercial, operational, and administrative performance of our Japan office.

Leading and developing all local business activities in sales, operations, and company management
Driving business development and expanding customer relationships in the project logistics and heavy-lift sector
Managing and overseeing the coordination of project forwarding activities, including complex transport solutions
Ensuring smooth operational execution in line with Combi Lift's global standards
Representing Combi Lift towards clients, partners, authorities, and industry stakeholders in Japan
Monitoring financial performance, budgeting, and reporting to headquarters
Building, guiding, and developing a high-performing local team
Ensuring compliance with local regulations, QHSE standards, and company policies

Requirements

Several years of experience in project forwarding, project logistics, heavy lift, EPC logistics, or a related field
Strong commercial mindset with proven success in sales and business development
Solid operational understanding of project logistics execution
Leadership experience or readiness to step into a senior management role
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently, strategically, and with a hands-on attitude
Fluency in English; Japanese language skills are a strong advantage
Deep understanding of the Japanese market is highly beneficial
