Responsibilities
Role Mission Statement
The General Manager reports to the CEO that he will be an active member of the Senior Management Team and has responsibility for the successful delivery of contracts and BMI targets, including efficiency, quality metrics and achievement of gross margins.
Core elements of the role include the following:
· The development of sales growth of current accounts.
· Project authorizations, headcount, quality and efficiency.
· Exceeding client expectations, eradicating disruption in customer plants and assuring total customer satisfaction.
· Developing relationships with senior members of client and prospective decision-making units.
· Ensuring G&P operations are legally compliant.
· Reviewing the current Product Offering and propose enhancements so that G&P can add further value, including bolt on services
· Build in-depth knowledge by deep diving into the details of all aspects of the business.
· Create a cross-selling culture throughout G&P by delivering consistent delivery service.
· Ensure swift resolution of suspended and disputed invoices to improve business cash flow.
· Create a vibrant team culture to install the right behaviors and skills to ensure our people are our strength, creating a culture of passion through total commitment
This is a hands-on role where you demonstrate understanding of the business details, exhibit critical thinking and lead the contract teams by example with a mix of direct and functional reports.
Requirements
- University degree in Economics or Engineering,
- English knowledge – negotiation level,
- At least 5 years of experience in similar position,
- Experience in automotive sector,
- High level knowledge of MS Office,
- Willingness to travel, undertaking foreign assignments as necessary,
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills,
- Analytical skills, attention to details, creativity, presentation skills,
- Proactive, can-do attitude,
- Type B driver’s license.
