Responsibilities
- Line management, coaching, and career development for a team of Full-Stack Engineers
- Performance management and professional growth fostering
- Fostering a culture of technical excellence
- Serving as dedicated Solutions Architect and technical lead on strategic cloud-native application development projects
- Taking direct ownership of technical success of projects
- Owning the technical strategy and architectural roadmap for assigned projects
- Leading architectural reviews and code reviews
- Ensuring adherence to high standards for quality, scalability, and security
- Serving as primary technical point of contact for senior client stakeholders
- Building trust and managing expectations with client stakeholders
- Ensuring alignment between technical solutions and client business goals
- Driving adoption of modern engineering practices and tools
- Ensuring technical decisions align with industry-standard architectural principles
- Supporting project delivery within an Agile environment
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in professional software engineering role
- Proven track record of shipping successful, production-grade applications
- At least 3+ years of experience in formal leadership capacity
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop software engineers
- Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Extensive experience leading engineering teams in consulting or client-facing environment
- Exceptional ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong hands-on architectural knowledge of cloud computing
- Direct experience designing and delivering complex cloud-native applications on major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency across full stack including modern frontend frameworks (Angular/React)
- Proficiency in backend services (.NET, Node.JS or Python)
- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
Nice-to-have
- Experience working within a fast-paced scale-up technology consulting firm
- Significant hands-on experience with the AWS platform and its core services
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or other professional-level cloud certifications
- Background as a hands-on Solutions Architect in a technical domain
- Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Amazon EKS
