Responsibilities

Lead and Cultivate Engineering Talent: Provide direct line management, coaching, and career development for a team of Full-Stack Engineers.
Provide Hands-On Technical Leadership: Serve as the dedicated Solutions Architect and technical lead on our most strategic and complex cloud-native application development projects, taking direct ownership of their technical success.
Own and Drive the Technical Vision: Own the technical strategy and architectural roadmap for assigned projects, lead architectural reviews, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to high standards for quality, scalability, and security.
Master Stakeholder Relationships: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for senior client stakeholders, building trust, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment between the project’s technical solution and the client’s business goals.
Champion Agile and Technical Excellence: Drive adoption of modern engineering practices and tools, ensuring technical decisions align with industry-standard architectural principles and support Agile project delivery.

Requirements

Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a professional software engineering role with a proven track record of shipping successful, production-grade applications.
At least 3+ years of experience in a formal leadership capacity with demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop software engineers.
Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies with extensive experience leading engineering teams in consulting or client-facing environments.
Exceptional ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders in a professional services context.
Strong, hands-on architectural knowledge of cloud computing with direct experience designing and delivering complex, cloud-native applications on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Proficiency across the full stack including modern frontend frameworks (Angular/React), backend services (Node.js, Java, or .NET), and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles.

Nice-to-have

Nice-to-have: Experience working within a fast-paced, scale-up technology consulting firm., Significant hands-on experience with the AWS platform and its core services., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or other professional-level cloud certifications., Background as a hands-on Solutions Architect in a technical domain., Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Amazon EKS., Node.js + AWS + Terraform course offered during the first month, including certification opportunities.
