Responsibilities

Creating and executing testing scenarios for manual and functional testing on products using available tools such as physical testing devices and BrowserStack across multiple platforms
Designing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end test suites using JavaScript/TypeScript with Playwright
Creating and optimising UI and integration tests supporting a multi-brand, multi-jurisdiction ecosystem
Participating in development lifecycle activities including refinements, technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and quality gate definition
Implementing and maintaining test data strategies, mocks, stubs, and service virtualization where appropriate
Participating in identification and troubleshooting of issues across frontend, API, and integrations
Collaborating with engineering teams to improve testability, observability, and debugging capabilities
Using dashboards and reporting tools such as Allure, Grafana, Kibana, OpenSearch to analyse failures, detect patterns, and improve reliability
Driving a quality-first mindset advocating for automation, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement across Brand Experience
Mentoring and supporting other QA Engineers and Developers in quality best practices, shift-left testing mindset, tooling, and design

Requirements

Strong experience writing and executing test scenarios covering technical and product requirements
Hands-on experience with Playwright or equivalent automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO) using JavaScript/TypeScript
Solid understanding of test strategies including mocking, isolation, reliability improvements, and root-cause analysis
Proactive ownership mindset focused on continuous improvement and solving problems at their root
Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts and mentor team members

Nice-to-have

Experience working with microfrontends, component libraries, or distributed frontend architectures
Clear understanding of all levels of functional testing including Unit Testing
Exposure to non-functional testing specifically Performance Testing using tools such as K6 or JMeter
Knowledge of contract testing (Pact or similar)
Exposure to TDD practices
Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD workflows using tools such as GitHub Actions or TeamCity
