Responsibilities

  • The role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring quality, standards, and meeting customer expectations. It consists of developing goals, handling complaints, resolving disputes, and supervising the associates. Regular communication with our Ladies And Gentlemen is crucial to create awareness of business objectives and expectations is essential. The Front Desk Manager also involves supporting the management of the front desk team, using interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others. Moreover, the manager serves as a role model, establishing open, collaborative relationships with our Ladies and Gentlemen and supervising all areas of the front office.
 
  • Exceptional customer service is ensured by providing exceptional services, improving service, and assisting our Ladies And Genltemen in understanding guest needs. The key is to focus on guest satisfaction during departmental meetings and focuses on continuous improvement.
  • Managing projects and policies involves implementing customer recognition programs, training the Ladies and Gentlemen in the Front Office Department, monitoring adherence to credit policies, supervising same-day selling procedures, and ensuring compliance with policies. Supporting human resource activities includes coaching, mentoring, and addressing our associates' concerns.
  • Additional responsibilities include providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates, analyzing information, and participating in departmental meetings. The ideal Front Office Manager is able to perform duties at the front desk, run shifts, and communicate clear goals to achieve desired results.

Requirements

  • Previous Front Office experience is required, especially in a luxury environment of at least 2 years;
  • Knowledge of OPERA (or equivalent PMS) and experience in cashiering are preferred;
  • A genuine desire to give guests exceptional service.
