Responsibilities

[Customer Service / Operations]

Manage operations for mainly ocean freight forwarding business to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
Optimise network partners and procure new sub-contractors/logistics services (via TIMOCOM or partner meetings).
Ensure 100% fulfilment of required customer KPIs and timelines.
Maintain profitable margins to align activities with positive financial results.
Maintain system data accuracy for all transactional updates and support the billing process.

[Finance & Administration]

Act as the focal point for bookkeeping/accounting: review invoices and manage AP/AR statements and reports and support related project(s).
Support company audit obligations and related administration tasks.
Handle ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Manager.

Requirements

[Required Qualifications – Mandatory]

Minimum Bachelor’s degree and equivalent business experience with at least 2 years of experience in the Logistics / Freight Forwarding / Shipping industry
Languages: Fluent Hungarian and English (both written and spoken) are required. Korean is an advantage
Agile learning ability
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to respond to urgent logistics situations when necessary
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams) and strong Internet research skills

Nice-to-have

We are looking for a Freight Forwarder (Operations & Admin) to manage freight forwarding and logistics operations while delivering excellent customer service for international shipments. The role involves coordinating Ocean, Air, Road and Intermodal transport (including customs clearance and warehousing & distribution) while ensuring smooth logistics operations. The position requires handling multiple transactions simultaneously and working closely with customers, partners and internal teams to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery.
