Állás leírása

Responsibilities

  • Planning, organizing and monitoring import and export shipments;
  • Selecting forwarding partners and optimizing transportation methods;
  • Maintaining freight rate tables;
  • Handling transportation documentation;
  • Analyzing and optimizing logistics costs;
  • Managing transportation issues and delays, improving processes;
  • Preparing reports, statistics and analyses to provide real-time information for finance, controlling or other departments upon request;
  • Organizing domestic and international shipments (export / import) in Hungarian and English;
  • Reviewing import / export customs declarations;
  • Performing calculations related to Certificates of Origin (CoO) determination;
  • Handling permit-required goods (ATR, sanctioned goods);
  • Managing inquiries from customs authorities and customs brokers;
  • Daily communication with internal departments and external logistics partners (warehouses, customs teams / customs agents).
  • Ensuring continuous compliance with customs legal requirements and regulations

Requirements

  • Minimum secondary education; logistics and customs administration qualification or a degree in a related field
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in logistics and customs-related areas
  • Communicational-level knowledge of Hungarian and English
  • Confident use of MS Office applications (especially Excel) and other computer software
  • Strong organizational skills, logical thinking, and high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliability and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a team and flexibility

Nice-to-have

  • Experience using ERP systems (SAP) is an advantage
