Responsibilities

Writing and maintaining clean, high-quality, efficient and well tested code aligning with project specifications
Architecting and implementing key abstractions bridging Software Engineering and DevOps
Proactively identifying pain points in the platform and proposing elegant solutions
Collaborating with Product and Engineering counterparts to build robust and reliable tooling
Developing and maintaining thorough technical documentation for the platform
Leveraging AI-assisted tooling and automation workflows to improve developer productivity, accelerate troubleshooting, and enhance platform reliability and maintainability

Requirements

4+ years of software engineering experience building complex backend solutions in a SaaS environment
Expert skills in at least one modern backend programming language
Proficiency in relational and nonrelational databases
Strong understanding of cloud native or cloud hybrid solutions
Experience using AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate development workflows

Nice-to-have

Familiarity with tech stack including Node.js, Go, Typescript, React, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Postgres, AWS, Prior experience developing tools to improve the developer experience, Experience building CI/CD pipelines, Previous experience mentoring junior engineers
