Fleet Acquisition Supervisor
Based in Budapest
Purpose of the role
The Fleet Acquisition Supervisor supports the management and expansion of Wizz Air’s aircraft fleet, contributing to the airline’s strategic goal of reaching 500 aircraft. This role involves handling financial and contractual aspects of fleet procurement, including invoice oversight, payment coordination, and contract administration. The position also plays a key role in maintaining relationships with lessors, financiers, and OEMs while assisting in aircraft deliveries, lease returns, and compliance documentation. Additionally, the Fleet Assistant Supervisor helps streamline internal processes and supports operational efficiency across fleet-related activities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of payment obligations under existing aircraft, engine, and financing agreements;
- Maintain and update master files and databases with detailed records of fleet-related contracts;
- Manage day-to-day communication with lessors, financiers, and OEMs regarding invoicing and asset utilization;
- Support the delivery process of new aircraft and engines, and assist in redelivery projects at lease expiry;
- Coordinate and oversee financial instruments such as letters of credit, security deposits, and maintenance reserves across the fleet;
- Respond to partner inquiries and provide documentation related to airworthiness and insurance matters
Requirements
Experience
Any work experience, especially prior finance-related background, including internships, is a plus.
Hard skills
Familiarity with Excel for spreadsheets and simple calculations
- Strong organizational and file management skills
- Understanding of financial documentation, invoices (preferred but not mandatory)
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
Language
Fluent English (both written and spoken)
