Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue optimization.
- Present financial reports to management, offering actionable insights for informed decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of the hotel’s annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budget, analyse variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Supervise accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), income audits, and cash flow management and forecast.
- Ensure timely invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and maintenance of liquidity.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Implement and uphold internal control procedures to protect company assets and ensure reliable financial reporting.
- Guarantee compliance with local taxation, legal accounting standards, and internal company policies.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.
- Serve as the financial liaison between hotel management, ownership, headquarters finance teams, and the outsourced accounting company. Ensure timely and proper communication and data delivery.
- Manage HR administrative tasks involving confidential information (e.g., contracts, personal data, payroll, holidays, leave, and health-related absences).
- Review, register, and complete contracts and ensure they are properly filed and compliant with internal and legal standards.
Requirements
The Financial Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the hotel’s financial operations and acts as the key liaison between the hotel and the outsourced accounting firm. This role ensures compliance with all relevant accounting and regulatory standards while supporting the hotel’s strategic and operational goals. The Financial Supervisor provides accurate, timely financial insights, manages key financial processes, and collaborates closely with the General Manager and other department leaders
