Responsibilities

Building robust, scalable technology and quantitative models supporting investment decision making
Supporting risk management and regulatory requirements for BlackRock and its global client base
Contributing to the development of the Aladdin platform across diverse business areas
Delivering mission critical solutions at scale
Developing financial models covering equities, fixed income, commodities, derivatives, and private markets
Providing investment insights ranging from single bond cash flow analysis to overall financial risk of portfolios and enterprises

Requirements

Graduate degree in a technical field (Maths, Statistics, Computer Science and/or Engineering, Finance, Econometrics, Physics)
2+ years of relevant working experience
Strong programming skills and experience using Python or C++ for statistical/econometric analyses
Strong knowledge of financial, mathematical, and statistical theory
Strong oral and written English language communication skills
Enthusiasm, flexibility, and maturity to adapt to dynamic group needs and deliver within strict time frames
Good time management skills including ability to handle multiple projects
Ability to translate real business problems into technical solutions
Ability and willingness to learn fast, multi-task, self-motivate and pick up new things easily
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships

Nice-to-have

Postgraduate degree in a technical field, Knowledge of Private Markets and/or Performance Attribution modelling background, Knowledge of Unix/Linux, Git, Stochastic calculus background
