Responsibilities

Purpose of the Role
Your primary responsibility will be to support the Hotel's financial processes, manage monthly closing procedures, and ensure the accuracy of controlling data. You will work closely on a daily basis with the Financial Director and the HQ Finance Team. In the absence of the Financial Director, you will perform management duties.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Active participation in monthly closing processes; preparing timely and accurate financial statements and management reports in compliance with company standards and statutory requirements

Supervising and providing professional support to the accounting Team
Actively support the internal and external audits, compiling required data and documentation, and liaising with auditors
Analyzing monthly reports, comparing budget vs. actual data, and preparing monthly balance sheets and AR/AP aging reports.
Partnering with department heads to strengthen financial awareness and providing actionable insights to enhance profitability
Monitoring inventory movements (between SunCloud and Adaco systems), verifying forecast data, and categorizing material consumption by cost center
Drafting general ledger entries, managing accruals and deferrals, handling VAT on prepayments, and reconciling intercompany invoices

Nice-to-have

Work experience in a hotel environment and in-depth knowledge of USALI standards
Familiarity with hotel financial systems: Opera, SUN, EPM, BIQA, Micros Symphony, and Adaco
