Responsibilities
Are you ready to take full ownership of the financial accounting and work with your colleagues on taking our Financial operations to the next level in Europe? Looking forward to work with our marketing and sales organizations? Then the position of this Financial Accountant might be your new role!

About the position:
As a Financial Accountant you will be reporting to the Hungarian Chief Accountant and performing the following tasks:
- Making sure the vendor invoices are paid in time and the VAT is booked correctly by the outsourced service provider.
- Preparing the balance sheet reconciliations.
- Participating in the month-end closings (accrual preparation, cost center corrections, etc.).
- Preparing tax returns and statistical reports.
- Participating in the Financial Statement preparation process.
- Participating in external and internal audits.
- Supporting the other departments from finance point of view.
Requirements
So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in the field of accounting (preferably at an accounting firm).
- Experience in wholescale bookkeeping, BIK calculation and VAT return preparation.
- Strong Excel skills are highly appreciated.
- Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Navision, Axapta, Oracle is an advantage.
- Experience in Financial Statement preparation and with external audits is an advantage.
- Experience in year-end tax return and any other tax return preparation is an advantage.
- Chartered Accountant or Tax Advisor certification is an advantage as well as diploma in Finance and Accounting.
- Fluent Hungarian and at least intermediate English.
