JOB PURPOSE
In this role, you'll play a vital part in shaping the financial landscape of our operations in Hungary! You'll be responsible for preparing and presenting the Financial Statements, ensuring everything aligns with the BKA Directive, IFRS standards, and local laws. Your expertise will also guide Legal Entity Controlling, covering areas like Actuals Reporting, Tax, Planning, Forecasting, and more. As a key player in the Pharma Commercial Operations, you'll help steer financial performance through effective planning and commercial strategies. Your insights and reports will be crucial for decision-making, making you the go-to person for the Pharma Country Head. Plus, you'll be an active member of the Country Divisional Management team, collaborating with others to drive success!
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
AS FINANCE TEAM LEAD: * Drives proper implementation of globally defined group strategy (e.g., taxes), standards, best practices, enablers (IT and concepts), and processes.
* Participates in the preparation of the local Legal entity’s income statement and consolidation, including Tax forecast and Transfer Pricing, Cash flow, Liquidity Planning, and Impairment testing, as well as financials for exposure planning.
* Assesses and analyzes relevant and material accounting issues, consulting with respective local and global functions and with internal/external auditors, if required.
* Supports the presentation of the Financial Statements of the Country to Bayer’s senior country management, external auditors, and authorities. Manages statutory and tax audits by local authorities.
* Participates in or manages finance projects for the country and manages resource allocation.
* Supports operation in the mCSA (Manual Combined System Approach) model.
* Delivers impairment tests of subsidiaries in alignment with GBS, divisional finance, and Corporate Functions.
AS PH BUSINESS PARTNER: * Delivers financial targets through robust financial steering: planning, target-setting, forecasting, deviation analysis, and mitigation.
* Partners closely with the Sales Country Manager HU and Cluster Head of Finance to drive performance and strategy.
* Leads operational controlling: forecasts (sales, costs, FTE), regular reporting (channels, margins, gross-to-net, tenders), and reimbursement monitoring.
* Monitors and administers local financial incentives and commercial policy; runs annual commercial committee.
* Coordinates financial risk management and supports efficiency/continuous-improvement projects.
KEY WORKING RELATIONS: Finance & Administration team HU, Internal and external auditors, Country Manager, Market Access Manager, CEE Cluster Finance Business Partner
WHO YOU ARE * University degree or equivalent professional experience in Internal and External Accounting, Finance, Controlling, Auditing, or similar fields.
* Professional experience in the financial area (at least 5 years).
* Drives results, collaborates, instills trust, possesses business insight, and demonstrates courage.
* Detailed knowledge of Bayer Group reporting requirements, IFRS, local tax laws, Group Finance, and administrative guidelines.
* Profound knowledge of Bayer Group structure, Business Groups, Service Divisions, and Legal Entities.
* Strategic mindset, collaboration, and managing complexity.
* Sufficient legal knowledge and advanced ERP/BI knowledge.
* Language skills: Local language and English fluently.
* Competence to grasp an overview of complex subject matters and deduce operational activities.
* Experienced in multidisciplinary project and corresponding change management.
