Responsibilities
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Budapest. The Finance Specialist will play an important role in ensuring the efficient financial and administrative operations of our group. Day-to-day tasks will include conducting financial analysis, managing accounting records, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

- Financial administration of all group companies (including several jurisdictions) (download bank statements, collect and log vendor/sales invoices and calculate and raise the IC invoices).
- Perform vendor invoices, salaries and distributions payment runs.
- Partnering with outsourced/local accountants to complete accurate and timely financial reporting and closings.
- Update the internal monthly financial/management reports for the group companies.
- Assisting in year-end closing and audit process.
- Managing bank and ledger reconciliations across the structure.
- Managing KYC processes to ensure compliance.
- Overseeing administrative duties for the Budapest office.
- Acting as the main point of contact for vendors, ensuring smooth relationships through timely invoice settlements.
- Support stakeholders with any ad-hoc finance, accounting or administrative requirements.
Requirements
The ideal candidate:
- Holds a degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration.
- Has up to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Has experience in accounting practices and principles.
- Strong analytical skills, precise, pays attention to detail, and capable of multitasking.
- Accountable yet independent, organized way of working.
- Fluent business English skills are a must, other languages considered as plus.
Nice-to-have
Preferred additions:
- Experience with process automation and the implementation of AI-driven solutions
- Strong analytical skills related to systems analysis and optimization
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) to support automation initiatives
