About the job 

In the sales territory of South-East Europe, the Filler Metal Sales Engineer oversees the Filler Metal business. Their responsibilities include achieving sales targets and managing relationships with key distributors and customers, providing both commercial and technical support. Additionally, they will assist local sales representatives.

  • This is a field and sales support position responsible for achieving, and exceeding, the Filler Metal budget.
  • Develop the Filler Metal business in all its aspects within the ESAB range: CE electrodes, CS solid wires, CC Cored wires, CF fluxes and CO other consumables.
  • Develop business relationship with strong partners (Key accounts, distributors, and direct customers) across the region
  • Support Filler Metal products, by providing trainings, and organizing product launches
  • Benchmark and position products to be within the local market requirements
  • Be proactive in the funnel process growth sales to target level
  • This position may be part of global projects, and liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our global solutions according to customer needs

What we are looking for

  • Education in welding engineering field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the welding industry
  • Extensive expertise in the field of filler metals
  • Type B driving license
  • Willingness to travel inside & outside Hungary
  • Conversational knowledge in English & fluency in Hungarian
  • Sales foundations, negotiation skills, self-discipline, and autonomy in planning and execution
  • Confident MS Excel & MS Word knowledge

Nice to have:

  • Engineering university degree specialization in welding
  • CRM experience
  • Experience in a global organization
