Responsibilities

Install and commission machinery and complete production lines
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and machine overhauls
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues
Advise customers and identify commercial opportunities

About the Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out service and maintenance activities, installing and commissioning our machinery, and troubleshooting technical issues at customer sites around the world. You will work independently, think in a solution-oriented way, and communicate directly with customers. While we take care of the planning, you will be responsible for resolving technical challenges efficiently and creatively on site.

This is a highly international position involving extensive travel. You'll visit customers across the globe, experience different countries and cultures, and represent our company worldwide. Requirements

Education: MBO Level 4 (EQF 4) or Bachelor's degree (EQF 6) in Mechatronics Engineering.
or an equivalent level of technical knowledge and practical experience
A relevant technical background in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
At least several years of experience in a field service or technical service role
You enjoy international travel, as the majority of your work will take place at customer sites around the world
You are comfortable being away from home (including weekends) on a regular basis
You are independent, flexible, solution-oriented, and persistent
You have a good command of English
