Responsibilities

Design and implement advanced algorithms across AI, Data, Simulation, Processes, and Quantum Computing
Lead the technical vision of interdisciplinary R&D projects
Integrate emerging technologies and mentor young researchers
Represent TWT at international conferences and forums

Requirements

PhD or Postdoc in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
Deep expertise in AI, Machine Learning, or Digital Engineering
Strong analytical and creative mindset
Fluent in English and German

About the Role
You'll shape the frontiers of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Simulation-based Design, Data-driven Processes, and Quantum Computing. You will collaborate closely with the R&D departments of our customers and contribute to both collaborative research initiatives and independent scientific work.

You'll work with leading companies across engineering and aerospace, such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Airbus, Siemens, and MTU AeroEngines, as well as with top universities like MIT, Harvard, Stanford, and ETH Zurich
