Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure
Operate and improve Kubernetes environments, including maintenance, monitoring, and performance
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code to enable consistent and automated deployments
Manage application deployment processes and templates
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including reusable components across projects
Configure and maintain cloud services
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams throughout the development lifecycle
Support projects during development, testing, and release phases
Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability and performance
Contribute to deployment strategies and recovery planning
Ensure infrastructure follows security and architectural standards

Requirements

Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes (EKS) in production
Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitLab CI
Familiarity with Helm and Git-based deployment workflows
Solid understanding of DevOps practices and the software delivery lifecycle
Very good skills in English (writing and speaking)

Nice-to-have

Experience with Kubernetes RBAC, service accounts, and resource-based access control
Strong understanding of AWS IAM roles and policies, especially Kubernetes integrations (e.g., IRSA)
Familiarity with GitOps tools and practices, particularly ArgoCD
Knowledge of networking concepts in cloud and containerized environments
Experience integrating services across cloud-native architectures
German skills (writing and speaking)
