Join us in making a difference
The Events Team is part of the Talent Experience Team, where we craft spaces, experiences, and stories that inspire connection and creativity. From designing events that bring our community together to creating a workplace where people feel engaged, supported, and proud to belong—we're all about memorable experiences. As an Intern in Events Management, you'll help our team of event managers create unique and memorable events for the whole company and smaller groups across campus, and eventually over time own campus experiences and events.
Here's where it gets exciting: you'll join us during the hot planning phase for trivago On Tour—our annual company-wide incentive trip to a secret destination! This three-day adventure (September 11-13, 2026) will be a major focus of your internship, where you'll support every step from concept to execution. But that's not all—you'll also contribute to our Core Events and bring life to smaller campus events throughout your time with us. From researching vendors and coordinating logistics to running campus events in collaboration with different stakeholders, you'll gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of event management. Plus, you'll travel with us to On Tour and see your hard work come alive as hundreds of trivago talents celebrate together. If you're ready to learn, grow, and create unforgettable moments, we'd love to hear from you!
How you'll make an impact:
- Support the planning and execution of trivago On Tour, our company-wide incentive trip, managing logistics, vendor coordination, and stakeholder communications
- Bring life to our events by assisting the events team with Core Events and creating unique experiences for our talents
- Take charge and run campus events in collaboration with different stakeholders such as Campus Team, Diversity & Inclusion, and cross-functional project teams
- Research suppliers, vendors, hotels, and event-related services, comparing offers to ensure the best experience for all events
- Ensure timely event communications through multiple channels, including sending invites and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the event process
- Join the team on-site during On Tour to support event set-up, execution, and dismantling, and demonstrate flexibility to accommodate staying late for different events when necessary
- Analyze event impact, share learnings, and maintain databases and documentation efficiently for accurate record-keeping
What you'll need to thrive:
- Availability for a full-time internship from April through the end of September
- Availability to join us for On Tour from 11-13 September
- Currently studying event management, hospitality, communications, or a related field, or have initial experience organizing events
- Fluent English skills (German proficiency is a strong plus but not required)
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with a structured approach to juggling multiple tasks and projects
- A proactive, can-do attitude—you're eager to find and work on projects, see progress from day one, and support other teams and initiatives
- An outgoing, collaborative personality with excellent communication skills and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances in the dynamic nature of event planning
Not ticking every box? We still want to hear from you. Apply, tell us what motivates you, and you could be a great match—now or in the future.
