Responsibilities

Operation of an environmental management system (e.g. ISO 14001), support in preparation for audits
Providing data and preparing reports to authorities, monitoring permits
Development and implementation of energy efficiency and sustainability projects
Liaising with authorities, external partners and internal departments
Conducting regular on-site inspections and tests
Developing environmental awareness of employees, organizing trainings
Developing innovative environmental solutions and development proposals
Monitoring and ensuring compliance with environmental legislation
Waste management administration, organization and monitoring of hazardous and non-hazardous waste transportation
Collaboration with fellow classes

Requirements

Higher education in environmental engineering
1–2 years of relevant professional experience (environmental protection, EHS, environmental management systems)
Confident, conversational English skills (oral and written)
Knowledge of ISO 14001 environmental management system, experience in preparing for audits
Up-to-date knowledge of environmental legislation
Experience in waste management and licensing
Confident administrative and documentation skills
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Independent, precise and responsible work
Active category B driving license
