Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations and monitor legislative changes, translating them into actionable business requirements.
Maintain and continuously improve the company's Environmental and Energy Management Systems in line with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards.
Promote an environmentally and energy-conscious culture across the organization.
Coordinate environmental permits, licenses, and external service providers required for daily operations.
Prepare environmental reports, declarations, records, and regulatory submissions.
Oversee and coordinate waste management activities and related processes.
Conduct site inspections, identify improvement opportunities, and develop corrective action plans.
Organize and deliver environmental awareness and compliance training for employees.
Act as a key contact for environmental authorities, corporate stakeholders, and external partners.
Support and participate in regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
Manage the collaboration with external environmental consultants and evaluate service effectiveness.

Requirements

University degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar environmental role.
Proactive mindset with strong ownership, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities.
Previous experience in a chemical, manufacturing, or industrial environment is an advantage.
Solid understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
Intermediate level English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Confident user of MS Office applications; SAP knowledge is considered a plus.
Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards; Internal Auditor certification is advantageous.
