Engineering Manager

We are looking for an Engineering Manager with strong leadership skills and deep expertise in complex manufacturing engineering tasks. If you enjoy solving practical problems, introducing innovative solutions, and developing a high-performing team, this is your opportunity to make a real impact!

Your New Role

You will report directly to the Site Leader, VP, Head of Operations, and lead a dedicated team of 10+ professionals, including Production Engineers, Technicians, Tooling Engineers, ECN Coordinators, and Maintenance staff.

Production Support

• Ensure uninterrupted production from a technical perspective with effective and practical problem solving.
• Oversee operation and development of manufacturing equipments and plant maintenance.
• Drive production efficiency improvement projects and introduce new manufacturing technologies
• Prepare and maintain production related technical documentation (work instructions in Visual Factory, production process maps, and layouts)
• Maintain engineering master data in SAP
• Support, initiate product and production related changes and component validation.

Supplier Tool Management

• Supplier tooling data maintenance in Nilfisk Tool Management System
• Manage tooling related supplier escalations
• Evaluate tooling condition, prepare and evaluate investment plan
• Approve new product tooling from technical point of view
• Manage relationships with tooling suppliers and subcontractors.

Maintenance & Spare Parts Management

• Lead preventive maintenance activities.
• Manage procurement, storage, and issuance of spare parts for production equipment.

• Engineering degree
• Experience in manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills.
• ERP system knowledge (SAP is an advantage).
• Fluency in English and Hungarian, both written and spoken.
