Responsibilities
- Core Power System Operation & Supervision
- Oversee the safe and stable operation of medium- and high-voltage power systems within substations and distribution rooms.
- Implement safety protocols, perform switching operations, and conduct daily inspections and monitoring to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
- Fault Response & Emergency Handling
- Serve as the technical lead in responding to and resolving electrical faults in substations and distribution systems.
- Perform fault diagnostics, root cause analysis, and execute emergency response plans to minimize downtime and ensure rapid recovery.
- Operational Analysis & System Optimization
- Regularly analyze substation data (load, power quality, etc.) and assess equipment performance to evaluate system efficiency and reliability.
- Prepare detailed operation reports and recommend optimization and preventive maintenance actions.
- Power Scheme Design & Technical Review
- Review and evaluate design proposals for new, upgraded, or expanded on-site power systems.
- Ensure compliance, reliability, and maintainability, providing technical input to achieve optimal design outcomes.
- External Power Supply Coordination
- Act as the primary technical liaison with external power authorities and service providers.
- Manage submissions, communication, and approvals for on-site power schemes, and coordinate acceptance testing and grid connection.
Requirements
- Holds an Electrical Engineer Certificate – Authorized Technical Manager License for overhead and underground power lines, transformer and switchgear equipment (high- and medium-voltage networks).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Fluent in English.
