Responsibilities

  • Establishes EHS&S principles, policies and strategies, as well as internal regulations, in accordance with legal requirements, ISO standards (including MEBIR) and corporate guidelines. Provides the professional foundation for their implementation and ensures continuous compliance.
  • Collaborates with relevant departments to operate and maintain the ISO 50001‑compliant energy management system.
  • Ensures that EHS&S regulations are communicated across the organization through ongoing information sharing and training activities.
  • Oversees work processes from an occupational health, safety, and environmental perspective to ensure full compliance and safe operations.
  • Organizes and coordinates EHS&S inspections and audits.
  • Ensures the professional background needed for the effective operation of the environmental management system (KIR) and the occupational health and safety management system (MEBIR).
  • Develops and implements the compliance monitoring strategy and follows up on execution.
  • Evaluates EHS&S compliance of all processes, materials, machinery, personnel, and conditions related to company operations. Ensures the appropriate conditions for conducting EHS&S inspections.
  • Establishes the framework for investigating workplace accidents and environmental incidents; organizes internal investigations and prepares all related reports and documentation.
  • Notifies plant management of any observed EHS&S non‑conformities and ensures follow‑up.
  • Defines the company’s EHS&S training topics and ensures the professional quality, relevance, and timeliness of all training programs.
  • Works closely with all stakeholders to proactively prevent EHS&S incidents.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for authorities on EHS&S‑related matters.
  • Sets goals and action plans to achieve EHS&S performance targets and regularly monitors relevant indicators.
  • Participates in management reviews at plant level.
  • Develops strategies for personal protective equipment (PPE) selection and implementation and ensures their effective execution.
  • Provides expert EHS&S advice and support to related functions and departments.

Requirements

  • University degree in environmental protection, environmental management, safety engineering, or a health-related field
  •  5–10 years of relevant professional experience gained in a multinational corporate environment
  • Strong knowledge of applicable environmental, occupational health & safety, and fire protection regulations
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, planning, and organizational abilities, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines
