Responsibilities

Developing the company's health and safety regulations, bringing them in line with Hungarian laws.
Continuously monitors whether the company's operations comply with legal obligations.
Organizes or participates in the development of production safety standards, operating procedures and emergency rescue plans for production safety incidents.
Organizes or participates in production safety education and training of the unit and keeps a record of production safety education and training as appropriate.
Organizes and carries out the identification and assessment of hazards and supervises the implementation of safety management measures for major hazards.
Organizes or participates in the company's emergency rescue drills.
Monitors the safety production status of the unit, investigates the latent risk of production safety accidents in a timely manner, and makes recommendations to improve production safety management.
Check the company's production safety investment plans and their implementation to ensure safe execution.
Supervises the safe operation of production, the proper work of workers, the safe condition of machinery, and investigates safety incidents and accidents at work.
Provide data for company reports and contribute to their preparation as required.

Requirements

Higher education degree in Occupational Health and Safety (Safety Engineer / Safety Expert)
Fluent English (written and spoken)
User-level MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of problem-solving and decision-making methodologies
Precise and responsible working style

Nice-to-have

Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in EHS system development
