Responsibilities

Join the ITA Education Team and help deliver anti-doping education programs that protect athletes and Keep Sport Real. As Education Assistant, you’ll play a hands-on role supporting projects, content development, and partner liaison with International Federations and Major Event Organisation partners.

What you’ll do

Program delivery

  • Assist in delivering World Anti‑Doping Code compliant education programs.
  • Draft education plans, evaluations, and reports using ITA templates.
  • Support online and event‑based education (webinar support, liaise with facilitators, prepare briefing packs, presentations and activities).
  • Provide on-site support at events when needed.
  • Deliver excellent service to partners and other anti-doping stakeholders.

Project support

  • Contribute to planning, development and implementation of education initiatives and content projects.
  • Coordinate projects across the education team and other ITA departments.
  • Track progress, deadlines and deliverables.

Administration

  • Manage inboxes, distribution lists, invoices, data-entry and meeting minutes.
  • Organise logistics such as travel, accommodation, and shipments.
  • Keep records and data accurate and up to date.

Requirements

What you’ll bring to the table

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (other languages are a plus).
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to be creative and propose solutions that make rules and regulations clear for athletes and their support personnel.
  • Confident with IT tools and technology, including MS Office.
  • Experience in project or client management is an advantage.

  • Proactive, athlete‑centred approach with a positive “can‑do” attitude.
  • Team player who thrives in multicultural environments.
  • Flexible and adaptable when faced with the unexpected.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel and occasionally work outside traditional office hours.

Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience or interest in sport and/or anti‑doping.

Nice-to-have

  • Olympian or high‑performance athlete background is considered an asset.

Company info

The ITA is an international organisation constituted as an independent not-for-profit foundation based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Its mission is to protect the integrity of sport and the health of athletes by delivering high-quality antidoping programs to International Sports Federations (IFs), Major Event Organisers (MEOs) and Anti-Doping Organisations (ADOs) that seek increased transparency and independence. The ITA operates in full compliance with the World Anti-Doping Code.

The ITA Education Department is responsible for the development and delivery of anti-doping education programs on behalf of ITA Partners, including IFs and MEOs, as well as other global anti-doping education capacity-building projects in close cooperation with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), National and Regional Anti-Doping Organisations as well as intergovernmental organisations such as the Council of Europe and UNESCO.
