Responsibilities

Early Leadership Opportunity - A great opportunity for Test Engineers or Automation Specialists who want to move into leadership with structured guidance and support.  This early-career leadership role is designed for individuals who are ready to take the next step—leading a team of engineers and technicians within Manufacturing department. You will build your management capabilities while staying close to hands-on engineering, gaining experience in planning, prioritization, coaching, and driving continuous improvement in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Support and guide a part of the test engineering team, helping colleagues grow while you are growing as a Leader as well.
  • Contribute to shaping the test strategy for our products, learning how to translate business and customer needs into practical test approaches.
  • Take part in planning, designing, and developing test systems, fixtures, and automated test solutions for hardware, software, and integrated systems.
  • Work closely with design, manufacturing, quality, and product management teams to ensure test requirements are well understood and incorporated early in development.
  • Help improve and standardize test processes, documentation, and tools to increase reliability and efficiency.
  • Use data from test results and dashboards to identify trends and support decision‑making.
  • Ensure test activities follow internal procedures, safety expectations, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate priorities and tasks across projects, learning how to balance short‑term needs with long‑term goals.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders and represent the test function in internal discussions.

Requirements

  • Experience in test engineering, validation, or a related engineering field — even a few years of hands‑on work is valuable.
  • Some experience leading others informally (e.g., mentoring, coordinating a project, acting as a technical lead) or a strong motivation to grow into a people‑leadership role.
  • Basic understanding of test strategies, methods, and tools for hardware, software, or embedded systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements and contribute to test plans and acceptance criteria.
  • Comfort working with data and using it to support decisions.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Hungarian.
  • A learning mindset and enthusiasm for developing both technical and leadership skills.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in industrial automation, process control, electronics, or similar industries.
  • Hands‑on work with automated test equipment, scripting, or data acquisition tools.
  • Familiarity with product development lifecycles (agile, stage‑gate, etc.).
  • Experience in manufacturing or operations environments.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement practices (Lean, Six Sigma, problem‑solving methods).
  • Knowledge of industry standards related to testing and product compliance.
