Responsibilities

Building high-performing, AI-enabled teams within Budapest Global Center for Product Innovation
Leading engineering for strategic products with design, delivery, and quality management across multiple agile teams
Defining technical strategy, system architecture, and integration of AI/ML-powered components
Championing engineering best practices including design and security reviews, continuous delivery, and reliability
Identifying, prioritizing, and implementing AI opportunities such as machine learning, NLP, and intelligent automation
Creating a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous learning
Partnering across disciplines including Product, Design, and Data Science to deliver high-impact outcomes
Ensuring ethical, secure, and privacy-conscious implementation of AI and data capabilities
Mobilizing the team through leadership in critical moments and celebrations
Contributing to company-wide strategy and shaping the future of Diligent's global technology organization

Requirements

7+ years of engineering leadership experience including multiple years building SaaS products
Track record of scaling products and teams in fast-moving, innovative companies
Mentoring engineering leaders and building inclusive, high-performance cultures
Deep familiarity with modern cloud-native architecture
Experience with AI/ML platforms and integrating AI into customer-facing products
Understanding of AI ethics, data governance, and responsible AI principles
Leading agile delivery at scale and fostering DevOps/SRE mindsets
Sharp business instincts with cross-functional collaboration and product strategy skills
Excellent communication and influence skills at executive and organizational levels
