Responsibilities

Build high-performing, AI-enabled teams that deliver real value fast—especially within our Budapest Global Center for Product Innovation
Lead engineering for one or more of our strategic products, driving design, delivery, and quality across multiple agile teams
Define technical strategy, system architecture, and integration of AI/ML-powered components
Champion engineering best practices—from design and security reviews to continuous delivery and reliability
Identify, prioritize, and implement opportunities for machine learning, NLP, and intelligent automation
Create a space for innovation, ownership, and continuous learning
Partner across disciplines—Product, Design, Data Science—to deliver high-impact outcomes
Ensure ethical, secure, and privacy-conscious implementation of AI and data capabilities
Mobilize the team in moments that matter, from solving critical customer issues to celebrating key wins
Contribute to company-wide strategy and help shape the future of Diligent's global technology organization

Requirements

7+ years of engineering leadership experience, including multiple years building SaaS products
A strong track record of scaling products and teams, especially in fast-moving, innovative companies
Passion for mentoring engineering leaders and building inclusive, high-performance cultures
Deep familiarity with modern cloud-native architecture
Experience with AI/ML platforms and integrating AI into customer-facing products
Understanding of AI ethics, data governance, and responsible AI principles
Proven success in leading agile delivery at scale and fostering DevOps/SRE mindsets
Sharp business instincts, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive product strategy
Excellent communication and influence skills at executive and organizational levels
