Responsibilities

Direction of animated cinematic projects in cooperation with client, producer, art director, CG supervisor, and project team members
Active role in pitches and project planning
Convincing presentation of projects to clients verbally and in written presentations
Delivery of best creative results within limitations of scope, budget, human resources, deadlines, and technology
Championing the project's creative vision
Alignment of all project team members with the creative vision

Requirements

Passion for the art of animation
Leadership qualities
Inspiration and management of a large number of artists and technicians
Deep knowledge of cinematography, film language, shot framing, and composition
Practical experience in cinematography, film language, shot framing, and composition
Creative thinking skills
Ability to tell a compelling story
Technologically minded personality
Ability to handle high levels of stress

Nice-to-have

Track record as a director of video game trailers, animated TV commercials, animated films, and short films, Storyboarding, 3D Previsualization (Autodesk Maya), 2D Animation, 3D Animation (Autodesk Maya)
