Responsibilities

Preparation for containerization and cloud deployment
Increasing scalability of systems
Re-evaluation of systems design
Building an industry leading, scalable, multi-brand platform
Supporting development teams (Backend and Frontend)
Enhancing CI/CD pipelines
Improving monitoring and observability
Supporting and maintaining custom infrastructure solutions
Ownership of CI/CD pipelines
Guidance to developers to improve automation, reliability, and test coverage
Leading migration from Octopus to GitHub Actions
Design and evolution of monitoring systems with Prometheus/Grafana
Integration of observability into CI/CD workflows
Ensuring robust tracing, logging, and metrics correlation
Support and extension of custom-built infrastructure components
Collaboration with frontend and backend teams
Work with Gaming teams and DevOps engineers focused on infrastructure and operations
Provision of tooling and guidance to developers across environments

Requirements

Experience with GitHub Actions and Octopus
Strong focus on deployment automation, speed, reliability, and test coverage
Ability to guide developers and foster ownership of CI/CD workflows
Proficiency with Prometheus/Grafana
Capability of building dashboards and improving alerting
Understanding of observability practices including tracing, logging, and metrics correlation
Experience with custom-built NGINX setups
Strong knowledge of AWS (EC2, ALB, VPC, EKS)
Experience managing infrastructure using Terraform and modules
Proven experience setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters
Experience with AWS EKS and Rancher RKE
Ability to write scripts in Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar
Proficient in Git and versioned source control practices
Support for build and deployment processes for backend (.NET) and frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript, StencilJS) applications
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Solid understanding of DevOps culture and ITIL best practices
Problem-solving mindset with ability to resolve complex technical issues
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions
Acting as a technical enabler for development teams
Championing DevOps best practices and empowering teams
