DevOps Engineer

We work with customers across 28 countries from 10 VOIS locations: Albania, Egypt, Hungary, India, Romania, Spain, Turkey, UK, Germany, Ireland, and with a network of teams in Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, and Portugal.

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Operations team, working on a critical digital platform that underpins online services for Vodafone business customers. This role focuses on the reliable operation, continuous improvement, and automation of cloud-based platforms that support scalable, secure, and high-performing digital solutions. The role offers exposure to modern cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and platform operations within a collaborative, agile environment.

• Operate, maintain, and continuously improve cloud-based platforms supporting digital products and services.
• Contribute to platform operations activities, ensuring availability, performance, and reliability across development, test, and production environments.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation processes to enable efficient software delivery.
• Work primarily with AWS-based environments, while also collaborating on platforms using other cloud technologies such as Azure or GCP.
• Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis, including on-call or support activities where required.
• Collaborate closely with development, security, and architecture teams to ensure platform stability and alignment with best practices.
• Contribute to documentation, operational standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• You have around 3 years of experience working in a DevOps, platform operations, or similar technical role.
• You have hands-on experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and are open to working with Azure and/or GCP.
• You are familiar with containerisation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools.
• You bring experience or interest in operational support, incident handling, and service reliability.
• You have working knowledge of scripting or programming languages; Golang is a nice to have.
• You have an interest in AI-enabled tools or platforms, which is considered a nice to have rather than a requirement.
• You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and are comfortable working in an agile, cross-functional team.
• You are confident using English in a professional environment.
